Jorge Fleisher, MD, Joins Internal Medicine and Infectious Diseases Division at Caritas St. Elizabeth’s Medical Center
Boston – Internal medicine and infectious diseases specialist, Jorge Fleisher, MD, has joined Caritas St. Elizabeth’s Medical Center in Boston.
A resident of Natick, Mass., Fleisher is a well-known primary care provider who specializes in serving Spanish-speaking communities. He joins Caritas St. Elizabeth’s distinguished community-based primary care physician network.

Fleisher is fellowship-trained in infectious diseases and has served as principal investigator in a number of important clinical trials on infectious diseases. He comes to St. Elizabeth’s from the MetroWest Medical Center in Framingham, Mass., where he served as the medical director of the SouthSide Clinic and as an attending physician in the Hepatitis C Clinic and HIV Clinic. Fleisher received his medical degree from Anahuac University School of Medicine in Mexico City, Mexico and completed internship and residency training at MetroWest Medical Center at the University of Massachusetts in Framingham, Mass. He also completed fellowship training in infectious diseases at Montefiore Medical Center at Albert Einstein College of Medicine in Bronx, N.Y., and at Boston Medical Center in Boston.
At Caritas St. Elizabeth’s, Fleisher will split his time between the Primary Care Clinic at St. Elizabeth’s Health Care at the Brighton Marine Building at 77 Warren Street, Boston, and the Infectious Diseases Division at the medical center.
