Our pain specialists, all board-certified faculty members of the Tufts University School of Medicine, offer a full range of state-of the art techniques to treat or manage all types of debilitating pain.
St. Elizabeth’s neurologists, neurosurgeons, orthopedists, physical therapists, psychologists and pharmacists work in multidisciplinary teams to develop coordinated, individualized treatment plans. The teams also work closely with patients and referring physicians.
Our comfortable, state-of-the art facilities provide a reassuring environment for diagnosis and for therapy that may include medication, trigger point, bursa and joint injections, and some of the most advanced techniques available anywhere.

The Pain Center provides referrals for biofeedback, acupuncture and other complementary medical techniques. St. Elizabeth’s pain management experts also carry out and publish cutting edge clinical research on low-back pain and other conditions and train medical residents and fellows in pain management.
