Por Cristo, a non-profit member of the Caritas Christi Health Care System, is a charitable medical service organization that has been involved in health care work in Latin America, with a primary focus on Ecuador, since 1979. Por Cristo carries out its mission in four distinct ways:
- Por Cristo Health and Nutrition Clinic
- Institution-strengthening through Medical Expertise/Technical Assistance
- Collaboration on a Community Health/Tuberculosis Project
- Provision of Medical Equipment and Supplies to clinics and hospitals
Haiti Relief Efforts
Caritas Christi Health Care has initiated several relief efforts in response to the earthquake and devastation in Haiti.
