About Us

Caritas Christi was established in 1985, long before other health care systems were forming.

Since then, Caritas Christi has doubled in size, and has broadened its scope to offer a full continuum of health services, to care for patients from the very beginning of life to its natural end.

Today we are the second largest healthcare system in New England, providing community-based medicine and tertiary care in eastern Massachusetts, southern New Hampshire and Rhode Island.

Each Caritas Christi system member carries its own history of outstanding health services and compassionate patient care, contributing to the tradition of excellence that defines Caritas Christi. We are committed to respecting the human dignity of everyone served.
