Our Surgeons
Drs. Arthur and Adam Glasgow are board-certified surgeons who have performed 500 LAP-BAND® procedures. Both are well-known, respected physicians who are deeply committed to listening to their patients. They encourage you to ask questions; strive to make sure you understand the answers; and pride themselves on making the experience of consulting with them and having the procedure as easy as possible for you and your family.
Dr. Arthur Glasgow, M.D. Dr. Glasgow, Sr., started at Norwood Hospital 35 years ago. He has been president of the Medical Staff and chief of Surgery and has served the hospital in many other capacities as well. He was instrumental in bringing advanced laparoscopic surgery to CNH and was one of the first surgeons in the area to perform laparoscopic gallbladder, anti-reflux, and hernia surgery. Adam Glasgow, M.D. Dr. Glasgow started at Norwood Hospital more than 20 years ago as an orderly in the operating room. He returned as a moonlighter during his residency and joined the staff full-time in 1999. During his 8 years at Norwood Hospital he has served in many capacities and is currently the Director of the Weight Loss Surgery Program and a member of the hospital's Medical Executive Committee.
