Polysomnographic Technology

Polysomnographic (PSG) Technology is an allied health specialty used in the diagnosis and treatment of sleep disorders. It is a rapidly growing field within sleep disorders medicine. The PSG Technologist works with highly sophisticated monitoring devices recording brain activity, muscle and eye movement, respiration, blood oxygen, and other physiological events. Technologists are involved in collecting, analyzing and evaluating test results as well as various treatment methods.
