Our gastroenterology services address many disorders of the gastrointestinal tract, liver, gallbladder and pancreas.

One of its most commonly performed procedures, colonoscopies, is a critical screening tool for cancer and other diseases of the colon. Endoscopic procedures are also used to diagnose gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD) and diverticulitis.

Other procedures commonly conducted include flexible sigmoidoscopy, gastroscopy,  endoscopic papillotomy, endoscopic balloon dilation, placement of stents, hemostasis of GI bleeding, liver biopsy, percutaneous gastrostomy, small-bowel enteroscopy, rectum and sphincter of Oddi.

The Endoscopy Department’s nursing staff has a great deal of experience, in patient care areas such as the ER and critical care as well as endoscopy, and bring a wide range of skills and knowledge to the department.

Outpatient Nutrition Center

Our registered, licensed dietitians offer comprehensive nutrition services to outpatients.  We provide individualized Medical Nutrition Therapy for a variety of concerns such as obesity, cardiac health, digestive disorders, intolerances, allergies, pregnancy and more.

• Booking an appointment requires a physician referral for Medical Nutrition Therapy.
• Insurance coverage for Outpatient Medical Nutrition Therapy varies among insurance plans and you need to contact your insurance carrier to determine coverage prior to the first nutrition appointment.  Insurance referrals for Medical Nutrition Therapy may be required from your PCP office.
• All appointments require registration through the patient registration office at extension 2191.

Individual nutrition appointments are conveniently offered during the day, evening and Saturdays.
