There’s a Baby on Board is a must for expectant parents and family members who own dogs. Having a new baby in the home can often be a source of stress, displacement and envy for your well-loved dog. The program focuses on keeping the dog and the new baby safe, while fostering a loving, lasting relationship for years to come. Becky Randall-Pelletier, a professional dog trainer, knows just how important it is to take these "pawsitive steps." She offers a 1 1/2 hour class called "There's a Baby on Board,” which is hosted by Holy Family Hospital. The cost is $10.

Maternal Health & Fitness

Maternal Health & Fitness provides expectant mothers with a place to exercise, gather information, bond and just “be pregnant.” It is a haven where women can come to prepare their bodies and minds for the birth of their babies. Owner and founder, Maureen Saba, was a Perinatal Technician at Holy Family Hospital for over 6 years, during this time she saw first-hand that women who exercise during pregnancy are better physically and mentally prepared for the birthing experience.

Anyone interested in the prenatal fitness classes is welcome to stop by and try a single class for “free”. You do not need to call ahead, just bring a water bottle and wear comfortable clothing. Just let the instructor know that you are a guest….and as always, listen to your body.

Welcome Newborn

Share the joy! Announce your new baby to loved ones over the internet right from the hospital. Holy Family Hospital is pleased to offer you free access to Welcome Newborn, a personal website that helps you introduce your new delivery to family and friends – that gets sent right from the hospital.

It’s easy, free and totally confidential. Your Welcome Site will feature your baby’s first photos, birth announcement, in the design of your choice. Only the people you choose can access the information.
